MULCHING

Just down the road from us, there is a small wood yard and we were lucky to get some woodchips from them! This was the 1st time that we've ever used woodchips for mulching. Not only does it help with water retention, but because it is organic, it slowly breaks down and feeds the soil. Another plus is that it even helps with slugs!
