NEW GARAGE/WORKSHOP

We need a garage. Chris needs a workshop! We decided to build a garage/workshop next to the house. It's our 1st big construction project on the Finca. The first step was to take out the sod -the top layer of the soil that contains grass and other organic materials. The next step was to slope or reshape the ground in order to guide the water away from the foundation of the house and workshop. Then we covered it with gravel and recycled asphalt. This took a few days and Chris even worked in a downpour!
